Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator
The
MBTI provides a useful method for understanding people
by looking at eight personality preferences that everyone
uses at different times.
The
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (M.B.T.I) is one of the
most widely used psychological instruments in the world
today. It has tremendous application and orientates
ourselves to our outside world.
The
variations and similarities that we prefer ultimately
have an effect over all our dealings with the people
we come in contact with and the people we ultimately
work and live with.
By
understanding these unconscious mental processes, we
can begin to use them as personal management tools.
There
are four dichotomous scales that describe these preferences:
E-
Extroverts-who get their internal energy from others
I-
Introverts-who get their internal energy from within
S-
Sensates-who take in information from the outside world
primarily by their five senses
N-
Intuitives-who make connections with the outside world
on
intuition
T-
Thinkers-who make decisions based on logic
F-
Feelers-who make decisions based on feelings and values
J-
Judgers-who like to come to decisions quickly
P-
Perceivers-who like to explore the possibilities before
reaching
decisions
We
offer a highly interactive and effective one day workshop
based on M.B.T.I and in particular on it's application
to the workplace and even to personal lives.
Please
contact Greg O'Brien for more details on how we can
tailor an M.B.T.I workshop for you and your team!
