About Us
Our
History
paceLEARNING Pty Ltd
had its origins in Ipswich in 1986. It was originally
known as PACE…Personal And Career Education and
was established as a way for Lifeline in Ipswich to
fund its community work. Dr Hilda des Arts was instrumental
in the development of PACE and during her life continued
to genuinely assist individuals and business to improve
their effectiveness.
Bruce Sullivan and Darryl
Blake worked with Hilda des Arts in providing Professional
Development programs from 1990 to 1993 during which
time PACE as it was originally formed ceased to be.
The company they worked for during this time was not
satisfying the values that were common between Hilda,
Darryl and Bruce and as a result PACE was reborn in
April 1993.
Their belief was that
if you were truly focused on meeting the needs of your
clients, then the money will take care of itself. This
philosophy has had proven results. The company has achieved
outstanding growth throughout this period whilst operating
in the most competitive segment of consultancy services.
As a leading Organisational
Learning and Development group working at an international
level, they have never had a failure in their product
delivery. They believe the reason is their total commitment
to understanding their clients business, objectives
and desired outcomes prior to any course design, delivery
or keynote presentation.
“We focus on
providing a range of truly tangible skills, knowledge
and attitudes that have been proven to deliver results
in the workplace and at home. If you can make the learning
process fun then people not only remember, they are
more likely to use the information”
They recognise and also
live by the view that long-term business relationships
can only exist when the building blocks of quality,
value and service are solidly in place.
Our director Greg O’Brien
continues to satisfy the values of the businesses origin
with a “who’s
who” of companies, organisations and associations
on their client list .
