What
makes a rugby, basketball or hockey team great?
Ask the coach - he or she might tell you that talent
is essential! Whilst talent is a fundamental ingredient,
it is not the abilities of one or two outstanding players
that will lead the team to victory. But rather,
it is players working together, using each person's
individual talents to achieve the collective goals of
the group.
Organisational
managers play dual roles - like coaches, they need to
be able to take a group of individual players and build
and maintain a team. They need to develop the
employees' ability to work together, using each person's
individual talents to achieve team effort at any other
level within the business.
We
are experts in the design of programs that will assist
your team to function more effectively. In doing
so, our objective will be to provide a program that
allows for the following outcomes:
Topics
will include:
- To learn about themselves
and each other
- To enhance their levels of
acceptance for each other
- To develop the confidence
to work from each others strengths
- To increase the understanding
of the potential areas for growth at both personal
and team levels
- To develop a common language
through the use of the various tools and models
- To use this knowledge as a frame
of reference for communication, planning, problem
solving and decision making
- To create a positive experience
so as to enhance morale, group esteem and productivity
Team
work is an essential ingredient of most workplaces today
and can be the difference between success and failure.
Let
us help you and your team to successfully work together
to achieve your workplace objectives.
